Theodore “Teddy” Gresser is involved in all aspects of portfolio management, deal sourcing, and fundraising for Sandy Spring Climate Partner’s syndicate operations.

Teddy is also the Director, Seed Funds at the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), one of the most active early-stage technology investors in the Mid-Atlantic. He supports three investment funds with deal diligence, financial and data analytics, memo creation, and deal support from inception through closing. Prior to joining TEDCO, Teddy was a Senior Associate with Techstars Equitech, providing operational and consultative support at scale to 12 high-growth technology startups with a focus on underrepresented founders as they progressed through an intensive four-month accelerator, resulting in an average of $1M in venture funds raised each post-program. Teddy also brings to the table experience consulting for innovative life sciences startups, co-founding a small service business, and has several years of talent acquisition experience throughout the healthcare industry.

Teddy earned his MBA along with a Graduate Certificate in Investments and Portfolio Management at The George Washington University and his BA in Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
